The Program Committee of the Master ‘International Crimes, Conflict and Criminology’ (OLC ICC) has two vacancies for student members for the academic year 2019-2020.
The Programme Committee consists of 2 teachers and 2 students and meets 4 or 5 times during the academic year (after each period, normally November, February, May, July) to discuss concluded courses (using the evaluations filled in by students and communication between the student members and the student population), monitor the implementation of suggestions made by the previous OLC and come up with further suggestions for improvement. Furthermore, the OLC has been appointed by law to approve the curriculum for the following academic year. Sometimes the OLC is asked for specific advice by the Programme Board (which directs the program). Finally, it drafts an annual report of its activities. Student members can apply for a small financial compensation (500 euros) once they have fulfilled their duties.
In order to apply, you need to send an email to the email address [email protected] containing
- Your CV. The CV has to have the following file name: ‘CV + family name + OLC ICC’.
- Your student number.
- A motivation letter, which is attached to the email as a separate file (max. 1 A4). The motivation letter has to have the following file name: ‘Motivation + family name + OLC ICC’.
Indicate in the subject line that the mail concerns an application for the position ‘Student member OLC IBL’.
The application deadline is October 20, 2019.
